
Alexander Osipov
Statement
Alexander Osipov grew up and matured as an artist in Almaty city in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is a place where roads of ancient traditions of two great cultures as Asia and Europe merge together. Alexander graduated from two classical art schools one of which is Almaty Art School named after N.V. Gogol and second is Kazakh State Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov. His philosophy of contemplation and rationality, understanding of antiquity and high technologies was formed thanks to guidance of leading Kazakhstanie teachers and as a result of many years of practice. This philosophy is reflected in unique style of his paintings. First artworks of Alexander were displayed in 1981, and then repeatedly exposed at the exhibitions in Kazak
Biography
Born 1959. Studied 1976 - 1980 at the Art College after Nikolay V. Gogol, 1980 - 1985 Kazakh National Theatre & Art Academy.
Alexander started to exhibit his art pieces in 1979 at the Domestic and International Exhibitions, and many of them are now posessed by private collectionists and museums in Kazakhstan and abroad.
