Statement

An artist can draw his inspiration from the past - historical events - or dream about the future and try to create something that have never existed. I don’t do neither of this, instead I choose to show in my sculptures the present.

Many people I’ve met in my country underestimate the importance of current events, I’m afraid they don’t see how much everybody’s wellbeing depend on it. My mission is to draw their attention and also give the future generation and idea of what was happening beforehand.

How do I prefers to do it? I use the language of classical academic sculpture. To be honest, I consider the tendency of using very obstruct “language” in sculpture to be a sign of degradation. I want to show that there is a place for classical language in the modern world of art, that with its help you can express your current thoughts and feelings.
