Statement
Using found objects to create sculptures brings resources to my disposition that are as varied as the material realm we live in. They provide an interesting mirror of our time and environment.
My work is frequently narrative or symbolic, and conveys social or environmental issues.
Biography
Annemarie Rawlinson graduated in 1986 in Fine Art from El Camino College,Torrance, CA, with honors. She studied Assemblage with Sarah Perry at Otis Art Institute and took various UCLA extension classes in L.A.
She exhibited nationally and internationally (including exhibits in Austria and Macedonia).
