Statement

Through the dynamic interplay of oil, acrylic, pastels, and collage,

my art transcends the boundaries of reality, inviting viewers into

realms of otherworldly dimensions and mystical places. Each

piece serves as a portal, transporting the audience to landscapes

where the ethereal and the tangible coexist in harmonious

tension.

Inspired by the mysteries of the universe and the infinite

possibilities beyond what we can see, my work explores the

delicate balance between the seen and the unseen. I draw from

mythology, dreams, and metaphysical concepts to create visual

narratives that evoke wonder and contemplation.

I aim to evoke a sense of curiosity and introspection, encouraging

viewers to question the nature of reality and their place within it.

By blending diverse materials and textures, I seek to create an

immersive experience that challenges perceptions and expands

the imagination.

In my creative process, I layer oil, acrylic, and pastels to build

depth and contrast, while incorporating collage elements that add

dimension and intrigue. This fusion of mediums allows me to

capture the essence of both the physical and the mystical,

creating artworks that resonate on multiple sensory levels."

Biography

Béatrice Lefèvre is a Franco-Swedish artist

Her work is about the exploration of the subtle boundaries between

the visible and the invisible.

Guided by Russian artist Zoia Krukovskya Lagerkrans, a former student

of Kandinsky, she embarked on her artistic journey at a young age.

Her time in Sweden played an important role in shaping her creative

perspective, enabling her to craft a distinctive visual language where

light, matter, and color unveil the unseen layers of the world.

After studying art and art history in Aix-en-Provence, Béatrice

embarked on a personal artistic journey driven by passion,

exploration, and a deep connection to creativity.

Eschewing formal academic training, she forged her own path,

prioritizing artistic expression over market trends and commercial

expectations.

Béatrice's work captures fleeting moments of mystery, where reality

dissolves to reveal something beyond mere perception. Through her

art, she seeks to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, inviting

viewers to enter a space of contemplation and inner exploration.

Béatrice developed her special style through experimentation with

various techniques, materials, and themes. This intuitive and organic

approach has resulted in an authentic artistic voice, shaped by

experience rather than academic instruction. Béatrice focuses on art as

a means of communication rather than a commodity, creating a body

of work that is raw, honest, and deeply personal.
