Daniela Gerson

Daniela has been honored with multiple awards including an APA Off the Clock photography award and a Pink Lady food photography award. Her work has been featured by the James Beard foundation, LA Magazine, Assouline Books and Edible Communities, among others.

When she’s not in the studio, you can find Daniela surfing the California coast or hosting fabulous dinner parties with her Venice Beach community.

Daniela Gerson is a Los Angeles based food photographer, stylist, and creative director on a mission to show the world that VEGGIES ARESEXY! Daniela began her career as a chef in Kauai, HI with a passion for sourcing colorful produce from local markets. She then moved to San Francisco where she built a successful boutique catering company and expanded into food photography. Eventually Daniela moved to the Los Angeles area where she currently works as a full time stills and motion image creator in her gorgeous prop-filled studio near Venice Beach. Daniela partners with renowned brands such as Zwilling, Kikkoman, Empress Gin, and Vermont Creamery bringing their creative campaigns to life.

Daniela is sought after for showcasing the beauty of real food and capturing the vibrant hues and rich tones of fresh fruits and vegetables. She uses her artistic lens to honor the farmers who grow our food, and to raise awareness about seed biodiversity. Through her work, Daniela strives to foster a better understanding of where our food comes from, encouraging more mindful choices that better the planet as well as individuals.

In addition to photography, Daniela offers her clients recipe development and promotion of sponsored content through her robust social media channels and blog. On Instagram, she connects with over 40K highly engaged followers; predominantly metropolitan millennial women that place a premium on knowing where their food comes from.
