Dmitry Demchenko

Photography is a great way to feel the elusive.

I was born in Vladivostok, Russia in 1990. After High School graduation I went to study in Tokyo, Japan in 2007. Learning the Japanese language fluently and graduating from two Japanese language schools I transferred to Digital Hollywood University in Akihabara, Tokyo. I worked as a TV host on the Japanese channels, NHK and MX Tokyo. I came to the US in 2012 to realize my goal of becoming an accomplished filmmaker and was studying at California State University Long Beach as an open university student for one semester. After that I transferred to Santa Monica College to gain the necessary amount of units and transfer to one of the best Film Schools in the world. While studying cinematography at Santa Monica College I realized that photography was another important and magnificent medium for storytelling. I graduated from Santa Monica College with Honors and have transferred to Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Every story starts with one single image and I love photography as much as acting and film making.
