Statement
I avoid painting what I see directly. Instead, I paint what I feel from an object and thereby give new life to the object.
I believe that every object has a life and soul, similar to the five elements in Chinese culture, everything consists of five basic elements: water, fire, metal, earth and wood.
Whenever I see a particular object, I see a particular essence and attempt to re-create this essence through art. Additionally, models or objects are mirrors; they reflect the real world and the way I see the world. Therefore, by painting the objects, I learn about myself.
