Dorothy Magallon

I attempt to celebrate mankind's creativity and ingenuity while at the same time offering a statement on the culture of disposability.

A native of Pennsylvania, Dorothy Magallon's early interests were in oil painting. Through art classes and studies at the Otis College of Art and Design, she discovered a new passion working in three-dimensional Assemblage. Both mediums have offered her fertile imagination the flexibility to pursue her artistic language.

Dorothy Magallon has received numerous awards and accolades for her work and currently shows in competitions and art galleries around the United States. Her artwork has been the subject of many articles and reviews in national and regional publications. She is a member of the Los Angeles Art Association, Long Beach Art Association, and San Diego Art Institute.
