Erin Lareau

I began with a glass slipper. I gave myself permission to make the most the most fantastical things I could imagine. The ancient art of glass making is now in the Machine Age. To the naked eye, my crystal and titanium stones rival Faberge's precious jewels. The magic is in the reflected color and light of the Aurora Borealis Crystals. Each stone has nine facets. Each of my works has three to over 60,000 stones, half a million reflective planes. Possessing both fascination and gift for transforming the ordinary into art, Lareau found her own unique kind of art to create. Using crystal gems, she transforms iconic and vintage objects into personal glamorous works of art.

Following the debut of her “Glamcams” at the Golden Globe and Academy Awards, the Emmy -Award winning costume designer exhibited her art and accessories at Pasadena’s prestigious Mendenhall Gallery, at Orange County Museum of Art and at Tiffany & Co. Erin’s sparkling art graced the sets of “ Will & Grace” “Friends” "Sex & The City", and ” The Tonight Show”.
