Gabriela Espinoza

I am a multi-disciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, primarily working in the mediums of painting, and photography. My art has an aspect of abstract, but I also paint realistically. I enjoy ceramics and printmaking, I partake in these two subjects when I can. Last summer I launched and co-founded EG Studios, a photography business and offer services in graphic design and photography. I plan on going to graduate school from Art Therapy.

I graduated from CSU Dominguez Hills with a B.A in Studio Art and minor in Psychology. During the summer of 2014, I had the opportunity to travel abroad (Florence, Italy) with the Cal State Summer Arts Program. I have been in quite a few group exhibitions since 2013.

I was the recipient to the following scholarships and awards: 2015 University Art Purchase Award, California State University Dominguez Hills, CA; 2014 Winston Hewitt Memorial Scholarship, CSU Dominguez Hills, CA; 2014 CSU Summer Arts Program: Drawing and Painting in Florence Scholarship, California State University Monterey Bay, CA.

I currently teach art in an after school program to grades K-5.
