Statement
I work with a specific set of motifs, three visual elements - dot, line and spot - form the basis of my organic abstract paintings. I am predominantly inspired by structures found in nature and, as a member of the international artist collective Serialists, my works are defined by repetition and the artistic labour based on it. The dualistic nature of my artworks stems from the sheer force set free during the painting process as well as its control by my extensive knowledge of painting skills.
In his newest series my attention shifts from organic structures to geometric systems. The serial organic signs are becoming more and more geometric – I concentrates on the rhythm and the energy and this is how compositional elements like absence, intermission and caesura define the compositions.
