Harry Chitrakar Kottler

My mother gave me an oil painting kit when I was ten years old. Later, I received a A.B. degree from Brooklyn College, and an M.F.A. degree from Pratt Institute. I have shown my art in many galleries.

The History of Art in the West brought me to God. As a young man, I puzzled at the rapid changes which occurred from the Medieval Era to the Modern Era. I needed to understand how and why it happened the way it did. When I first accepted the perfect nature of the universe and then turned to God, amazing things happened inside me. My secular life became spiritual, and my goals and aspirations changed.
