Statement
I am very connected to the living world as an empath and lightworker. I love my life, nature and I'm very spiritual, believing everything happens for a reason. My creations identify the painter as someone that sees their organic life as beautiful, natural, symbolic, and at times tumultuous. This series is a repeated shape that symbolizes me through stages similar to a butterfly: Chrysalis(darkness),Metamorphosis(Ode to Marilyn), & final beautiful Maturity. The beginning painting is sizably smaller with the end masterpiece much more grande and joyful just like the final adult butterfly.I use the color white at the end t symbolize the joyful peace that comes from the wisdom gained from the life lessons learned. The last painting symbolizes the joy of the woman who has learned self respect and confidence in herself as she stands independently without toxicity in her life. She has learned to let go of the things that cause her pain. Please enjoy.
