Johnny Nicoloro is an award-winning artist whose double-exposure compositions created entirely in his camera produce unique and visually compelling pieces.

Johnny\'s success reached new heights in 2010, culminating in December with a highly-acclaimed exhibition at The Latino Museum in downtown Los Angeles. Eight of his pieces from that exhibition - Las Virgenes - have been acquired for their permanent collection. It has been extended through April 2011. Another of his pieces - \"Freedom to Marry Mary\" - was also acquired for the museum\'s permanent collection.

His pieces were also featured in exhibitions and curated for three group shows in 2010: \"Hybridity: American Unity\" at the Latino Art Museum; \"Concentation: The Act of Linking Together\" at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts; and \"Gateway to Imagination: A National Juried Art Competition\" at the Farmington Art Museum in Farmington, New Mexico. Johnny also held a three-month long solo exhibition at \"Ed\'s\" on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood.

In September 2010, Johnny was awarded first and second prizes in photography from The American Art Awards for his pieces \"While Steve Was Waiting\" and \"I was in South Pas today\", respectively. Additionally, the LA County coordinators of \"SoCal for Jerry Brown\" named Johnny the honorary photographer for Brown\'s 2010 campaign for Governor.
