Kimberly Gerry Tucker

Hey, being autistic and sometimes mute I truly do express how I feel and see, my voice, through what I create. It may be cliche to say, but art is my dopamine.

Kimberly Gerry-Tucker is a New England based author and prolific autistic artist who has a painting in the collection of a Grammy winner. Kim has created memorable woodcarvings, dozens of mosaics and digital works. Since 1999, she has also done thousands of acrylic paintings which have shown all over the U.S. Her work has been featured in various shows and some artworks have been featured on the cover of several books. But her passion and medium of choice since 2017 has been unique detailed collages. Kim calls her technique "painting with paper."

Kim is inspired by Van Gogh, by neurodiverse body types and natural goddesses, and by trees... especially by the patterns bare limbs make against the sky.

Having art owned by a Grammy winner was a proud achievement for Kim, as was having her having her art on the cover of several books, including a best-selling autobiography by Sam Craft. Kim loves the Boston area and enjoys when she was work showing there, because she can enjoy Boston during downtime. Kim resides happily with her pets, two of her grown children and her partner.
