Statement

As a contempoary artist, my inspiration to paint or create is the human body. The line, contours, shadow shapes, texture and energy are unmatched. My goal as a visual artist is to create works that are innovative, joyous, simply sophisticated and ignite my viewers imagination. My images are representational and border abstraction. My style has been cultivated over the years and inspired by many figurative, pop artists, and impressionists before me.The selection of color and composition lend to strong imagery, combined with a subtle sensuality.Texture also plays a vital role in my work.

In the challenging times we live in, and the omnipresent negativity,I want to create art that is joyous, and complelling, with a dash of positivity.
