Statement
My work is most about opposing man and woman. The man and the woman who make up each individual existence, but together make up one whole. With a gentle look, I watch their coexistence, symbiosis, relationship, good and worse, but always unique and beautiful coexistence. Much of my work reflects love, relationships, emotions and I look at them my own point of view, with my own feelings without any conventions. Because of three children most of the time I create my paintings at night.
Biography
My painting career start in 2016 when my boyfriend had snuck one of my paintings on an exhibition at the prestigious Prague Art Fair, but since we could not / did not want to use my name, we put the name "Marascaud", a character from one epizode by Hercule Poirot, who stole paintings (instead, we did not steal the paintings, we added one :)). So I kept the name Marascaud as my own and start to painting and exhibit my artworks (collective exhibition in Arteria, Barcelona, Solo exhibition in gallery 1, Czech republic, collective travelling exhibition "Factory tour"etc.
