Rah Azul

As an artist there is many directions which I see myself going. Not only painting great works or murals but interacting with my community. Bring art and murals to the people who would otherwise know nothing about art and they ability to convey a powerful message. Art is part of our culture, a tool for our youth to express themselves, I want to keep this alive.

I am a self taught artist, muralist and poet. I was born in East Los Angeles in Dec. 1984. I started doing art in middle school when I was introduced to graffiti. From there I fell in love with expression itself. Now I am working with my community, local schools and others non profits to produce more murals in the San Fernando Valley. This is now my full time job, from teaching to commission work. I am learning the in and outs of this art world.
