Statement
One might redefine artistry as the infusion of an inanimate object with the artist\'s soul turning the object into a creation with a life of its own - and so it is with the works of sculptor Richard Thomas. \"A flash of a beautiful moment gives me the inspiration to create. I am constantly inspired by the beauty all around me and the ever evolving human figure. As a sculptor, I see the world rather differently: my awareness of all the shapes, angles and curves of people and objects is heightened and I am continually fascinated by the fact that everyone\'s features are unique and I view this uniqueness as a challenge to capture.\"
