Statement

The three fools can be interpreted in different ways. It can be a statement on our current political situation in the U.S. But can also be interpreted as warding off the evil eye. Which at one time in the history fools were thought of as protection by warding off the evil eye. We need three fools right now.

I felt that collage and jointed paper dolls were the best way to represent the fool. Their limbs can be moved and they can evoke different emotions depending on what their position is.
