Susan Dubin

Susan is a poet who seeks to give voice to women who have been overlooked. Women who cherish family and relationships are all around us. Because these women express feelings that are universal, these poems can be read and understood by women of today.

Susan Dubin is the library and education consultant for the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center. An educator for over 40 years, she has taught all grades from pre-school through college and served as a school librarian from 1982-2012 in Los Angeles before relocating to the Las Vegas area. As a grant coordinator for the Tools for Tolerance for Librarians program through the Simon Wiesenthal Museum of Tolerance, she helped teach workshops, write curriculum amd interface with other leaders in the field of Holocaust education. At the Sperling Kronberg Mack Holocaust Resource Center, she has created and developed teacher-training curriculum on the varied themes of the Holocaust and has taught educators and administrators in the Clark County School District and the Washoe County School District. Her involvement in Holocaust education also includes membership on the Holocaust Education Conference Committee, past president of the Association of Jewish Libraries, and member of Association of Holocaust Organizations. Susan is the author of "Kol Isha: Poems in the Voices of Women from the Bible" and "The Story of Ruth in Poetry."
