These five images rediscover wonder by making unexpected connections between real scenes and imagined contexts.

Mexican Dream recalls various facets of a recent trip to New Mexico. Just a few pieces from Alexander Girard’s Folk Art Collection form the basis of a hallucinatory dream set within New Mexico’s remarkable skyscape.

Jain Lions at Play shows the fierce guardians of the Shree Sheetalnathji Temple, Kolkata, in a gentle and playful mood. Transported, in a child’s imagination, to a mythical fractal landscape, the lions can forget, for once, their onerous duties as temple guards.

Ascent to Salvation Mountain gives expression to Leonard Knight’s lifelong work in creating his Salvation Mountain, made out of mud, straw and paint. Located in the desert of Imperial County, California, this vision sees Leonard floating aloft amid towering azure skies.

Flying Elephants illustrate a story that hasn’t yet been told. They are from Sonagir, a Jain pilgrimage site in Madhya Pradesh, and here they have been given an aerial life which belies the heavy and static reality of their normal existence.

Kite Sky shows stills from a moving artwork built with Processing. A cloudy New Mexican sky forms the backdrop to an imagined kite flying festival in which a multitude of shapes with variegated patterns and colors perform a complex dance.

Terry Trickett is an architect who has recently developed an interest in digital art. His architectural and design projects http://www.trickettassociates.com , which focus mainly on exhibitions and interiors, demonstrate a close involvement with graphic design and often incorporate photographic or illustrated imagery.

As a result of one particularly fruitful relationship with a significant client, the Wellcome Trust, Terry Trickett instigated a wide-ranging project (Sci-Art) in which scientists and artists, working in partnership, are encouraged to pool their ideas and, thereby, maximise one another’s creative potential. This initiative is now poised to enter a second stage, Sci-Art Lab http://www,sci-art.org.uk

Three artworks produced under the title ‘From Bucky to Gehry’ have recently been on display at the New York Hall of Science. These works are viewable on line http://www.asci.org/index2.php?artikel=1072 and in October of the same year they were on display at the Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

\\\\\'Cubic World at Sea\\\\\' was selected for display at PRINT NOW, an exhibition of innovative print, held at the London Art Fair 2010, 13-17 January 2010.
