Tony Reynolds

The landscape is certainly one of our basic primal visions as both living creatures and as artists. It has a visceral effect on our psyche. In my work I want to present the elements of the landscape, scale, texture, earthiness and also its mystery and the backstory of man's footprint on it.

Tony Reynolds is a visual artist focusing on sculptures relating to the landscape both natural and abstract. Schooled in the arts of painting, printmaking and photography he has moved to the arena of the 3 dimensional object as better fitting his creative needs. He has chosen clay as his primary medium in order to relate more closely to the landscape.
