My current work frequently involves animals. Although I do love animals and would probably enjoy bashing about on the moors with them, my interest is driven more by the unique and often hilarious expression I find in these animals rather then the animal as subject.

I was born an artist in a family that appreciated art but appreciated being a lawyer or doctor more.

My first vivid art moment happened at catholic kindergarten where I was sent to get a “good education”. We had to complete a project, folding paper and cutting the corners to produce a cross, before we could leave for the day. By the end of class I was alone with a desk full of snowflakes and one very sweaty, very pissed off nun. Both of us had missed the others magic.

Several twists and turns later, I now understand that whether I make art or not, art is my inherent POV this life. But I love to make art so it looks like it’s all going to work out.

I took as many art and writing classes as I could in grade school and some amazing design classes in college. I also have a business degree, which has saved my life many times. I am a multi media artist. I use painting, writing, drawing, math, poetry, collage, and would like to add performance and video when I figure it out.
