Yefim Zhelezov

I'm working as a realist, and I'm of the opinion, that absolutely no sense to invent something out of one's head when we are surrounding by so many amazing things!

My motto is skill.

I was born in Leningrad, USSR (now The Russian Federation) and studied art at a children's art school. Graduated from The Building and Architecture Institute with a Master Degree in Architecture and Art and subsequently worked as an architectural designer for 15 years. This time I took advanced oil painting lessons from an art studio and participated in numerous art shows in the City. Since 1989 as a resident of US I been working as an artist and designer in the Boston area and started to participate in different juried art shows across US mainly using soft pastel media. Some works were awarded by prized. Since 2017 I started to learn scratchboard graphics technique and started to show my new works in a some exhibitions and in a year I became a member of International Society of Scratchboard Artists, and SSA since 2020. I participated in all ISSI exhibitions since and some art shows in different Massachusetts Art galleries. My favorite themes in Art are figurative, portrait, still life, landscape made in different techniques.
